Gripanden i Kina

Center for Human Rights and Democracy i HongKong rapporterar att:
This centre has confirmed that five people involved in "China's Jasmine" revolution have been detained so far for "inciting subversion" or "subverting state power: Zheng Chuangtian in Guangdong, Ran Yunfei in Sichuan, Liang Haiyi in Harbin, Chen Wei in Sichuan, and Hua Chunhui in Jiangsu. To sum up, the public security organs have officially detained these people within 24 hours, which shows that the whole nation is systematically implementing the policy of "swiftly" suppressing the "Jasmine" activists. According to the experience of this centre, 90 per cent of those detained for "subversion" will eventually be sentenced and rarely be released. For this reason, they will face a sentence of 5 to 10 years imprisonment.
